Abstract
Breast cancer is one
of the most prevalent malignancies among women worldwide and remains a major
public health concern due to its increasing incidence and mortality. Advances
in early diagnosis, molecular characterization, and therapeutic strategies have
significantly improved survival rates and quality of life among breast cancer
patients. Therapeutic interventions for breast cancer include surgery,
chemotherapy, radiotherapy, hormonal therapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy,
and supportive nutritional management. Treatment selection depends on tumor
stage, molecular subtype, receptor status, and patient-specific factors.
Emerging therapies such as precision medicine, nanotechnology-based drug
delivery, and gene therapy are providing new opportunities for personalized
treatment. This review summarizes current therapeutic interventions used in
breast cancer management, highlighting their mechanisms, benefits, limitations,
and recent advancements.
